Cartonera Zine was written, digitally printed, and bound at Papaya Press for Los Angeles Zine Fest 2025. The zine introduces readers to the history and aesthetics of cartonera bookmaking and the connection between the cartonera and zine movements. In keeping with the content, the book appears in a single-sheet zine format bound in salvaged cardboard covers with three-dimensional elements. Each copy features a full-color printed frontispiece and each cover is uniquely collaged.
